Rubber Drones, like most cybernetic organisms, require periodic maintenance of their biological components in order to ensure optimum performance.
At the Drone Spa, drones receive specialized treatments that return them to their baseline conditions.
Drone Spa Episode 3 - “Deep Format”
In this example, a drone is being prepared for shipment to a new controller. For reasons of privacy, and state security,
the drone's memory must be completely wiped. This requires a “deep format” procedure.
The drone is placed in a hermetically sealed formatting chamber, where mind-soothing, pungent aromas are strategically mixed into its breathing filtration tank.
Simultaneously, the drone's sensitive areas are stimulated, causing it to enter a state of heightened arousal.
After “spin-up” period, a machine pumps additional, classified aromas into the drone's mask.
Once the deep format is complete, the drone reboots and its glands automatically express drone fluid onto the floor of the chamber.
But, the procedure isn't complete yet. After the deep wipe, the drone is left to low-level-format,
and will not be released from the chamber until its default state of heightened arousal and receptiveness to new commands is achieved.

Drone Spa Episode 4 - “The Sound of Calibration”
An intense glimpse into a drone programming session - and this one has a special bonus
for ASMR fans - an audio file where you can follow along with every breath taken and every command recited
by the tightly restrained and highly focused drone! Plus, the raw programming file for use when converting a friend into a drone, or for some private self-programming sessions.
When programming a drone, it is vital not only that the drone obediently execute all commands,
but that those commands are accurately received and memorized in the first place.
You can't have autonomous rubber drones running around with corrupt programming - the result would be chaos!
Here at the Drone Spa, we can observe a new drone being calibrated to download instructions clearly.
While the drone is probed and stimulated, it listens to programming commands from a tape loop, which it must recite out loud with complete accuracy.
Failure to reproduce the instruction correctly results in the drone receiving corrective stimulation.
This sharpens the drone's sensory receptors, and better focuses its attention on subsequent commands.
The testing then intensifies with a deeper, more intimate probing.
A special calibration lamp slowly pulsates in conjunction with a deep oscillating tone - a drone tone -
which synchronizes the cybernetic patterns within the drone's wetware.
Strapped firmly to the table, the drone is helpless to resist the penetrating manipulations of the expert controller.
The stimulation reaches ever-higher levels of intensity, until the drone's circuits are overloaded and it is permitted to release its pent-up fluids.
The memory of this event, seared into the drone's pleasure-receptors, will ensure the drone is eager and ready to receive any future programming updates.
Until needed, the drone is left in an idle loop, replaying the sequence of stimulation and responses it has just experienced,
as the calibration lamp continues its unavoidable undulation.
